Versatile Valves for Diverse
Applications

KKI has been providing control valve solutions to diverse industries for more than 40 years. During that time, we have supplied more than 70,000 control valves worldwide to many of the world’s largest organisations.

In addition to our specialism in the oil and gas, petrochemical and power sectors, we have supplied more than 4,000 valves for use in breweries, paper mills, steel mills, water treatment plants, man-made fibre plants and aluminium smelters.

Exceptional Products for Every Industry

We produce several ranges of control valve for use in general industry sectors:

  • Series 10/71 Top-Guided Globe
    and Angle Valve
    Open

The Series 10 valve has been an integral part of the KKI product range from the beginning and has been supplied worldwide to numerous installations from offshore refining plants through to breweries and water treatment sites. Developed as a general duty valve, in its basic form it will satisfy the majority of low-to-medium duty control valve applications. Series 70 is the angle body version. The construction of this range of valves is of a simple form, but is designed to allow specialised applications.

In the contoured trim form it is typically used for flow, pressure, temperature and level control at low-to-medium pressures and in size ranges of ½” to 12”, ANSI 150 to 600.

Series 10 valves are used for certain duties where there is a need for low CV values and high rangeability. Applications where there are high pressure drops and low flow rates on liquid duties will benefit from our microspline style trim, while multi-spline trims are used for severe service applications.

Also available are double-seated versions of this valve - Series 20. This range is ideal for high-capacity applications or where the benefits of the trim construction suit viscous or contaminated fluids, such as catalyst fines.

For mixing or diverting duties, such as temperature-control loops, we have a three-way version - Series 30.

  • Series 12/72 Cage-Guided Globe
    and Angle Valve
    Open

The Series 12/72 range of control valves has been developed to provide a cost-effective solution to the ‘final control element’ used in modern plants. The valve design combines the successful high-integrity features of the Series 10 range, but with the added benefits of cage-guided design. Series 72 is the angle body version.

The Series 12/72 range of control valves has been an integral part of the KKI product range for more than 25 years and has been supplied worldwide to complement its Series 10 cousin. The range is ideally suited to meet a variety of process-control requirements.

The cage-guided design is typically used for flow, pressure, temperature and level control at medium-to-high pressures. It is available in size ranges of ½ ” to 36”, ANSI 150 to 4500, in a wide range of materials from carbon steel through to exotic grades such as austenitic stainless steels, high nickel alloys and titanium grades.

The Series 12/72 is the ideal platform for accommodating our full range of cage-guided trim technologies, from single cage through to our anti-cavitation and low-noise multi-stage trims, including our ‘Vector’ multi-path velocity-control assemblies.

The flexibility of this series of valves allows it to be used across a broad spectrum of process-control applications, including severe service duties where noise, cavitation, flashing and the energy levels associated with high pressure drops need to be accounted for. Typical examples of severe service duties for which we have supplied solutions are compressor recycle, anti surge, high pressure-drop liquid duties and high pressure drop high-noise gas duties (flares).

  • Series 60 Butterfly Range Open

The KKI rotary valve has been developed to give a flexible range of valves with many interchangeable parts and minimum maintenance. The construction of these valves, together with the options available, enables them to be used in many applications where low system pressure drops and high flow rates are required. We produce several versions of double-offset butterfly valve, such as swing through, soft seated, metal seated and anti-cavitation vanes.

Body forms available are wafer, lugged and double-flanged connections. All are available with body ratings up to ANSI 2500 and sizes from 4” to 36” as standard, in a wide range of materials to suit various operating environments.

The KKI butterfly range features our ‘Rotrol’ disc design which eliminates cavitation, has the ability to control through 90 degrees and has excellent flow control rangeability. The ‘Rotrol’ design also gives lower noise performance on both liquid and gas applications than standard butterfly disc designs. These features make it the ideal solution for duties that prohibit the use of a standard offset butterfly valve.
