Specifying the correct size and configuration for your valves is essential if they are to achieve optimum, long-term performance. At KKI we use advanced sizing and selection software, backed up by our extensive expertise, to ensure you receive precisely the right valve for your flow rates, service conditions, pressure drops and operating temperatures.

KKI’s advanced sizing and selection software is used to select the most economical valve for each specific application. It takes into account process conditions and parameters such as end connections, leakage requirements, design standards, corrosion resistance and flow characteristics to calculate the Cv and thereby select the optimum valve.

The valve selection is made by calculating the Cv for minimum, normal and maximum flow conditions. The software also checks for issues such as cavitation and flashing. Trim selections can be changed to meet the required noise levels. All KKI valve sizing and selection is based on ISA standard S75.01.
